As the popularity of aesthetic injectables has soared, perhaps no dermal filler treatment has become as popular as lip filler. Whether due to naturally thin lips or to a loss of lip volume due to age, clients across New Zealand are seeking natural, revitalising lip filler treatments with the power to transform their face.
Our lip filler masterclass provides the perfect opportunity to specialise in one of New Zealand’s most popular dermal filler treatments. The fillers course covers advanced techniques that can give you an edge in the competitive aesthetics industry.
If you would like to explore the growing area of aesthetic medicine, this course is perfect for you. You will cover both theory and practical elements, looking at facial anatomy and product ranges as well as physical assessment and injecting.
By the end of the dermal filler training, you will be able to achieve incredible results for your patients by administering Botox and dermal fillers to reshape your patients’ lips.
The lip masterclass is suitable for doctors, dentists, and nurses with experience in aesthetic injectables, whether through employment or by completing training such as our Foundation or Advanced Course. Only qualified medical practitioners and healthcare professionals can apply for a MATA lip filler course. This is to ensure all of our course attendees are trained to the very highest standard. It also means that, in the unlikely event of a patient having a bad reaction to lip filler treatment, their injector understands emergency medicine and treatment.
All models required for our training courses will be provided and pre-assessed by MATA. This gives you the chance to practice on up to 10 patients throughout the course, boosting your confidence in practical treatment.
Our training academy groups are only small, giving you one-on-one time with your lip filler course leader. You will be supported throughout the lip filler course, and all of your work will be overseen and assessed to ensure it meets MATA’s high standards.
The Lip Masterclass will be delivered by one of MATA’s expert trainers, who will have a wealth of experience in carrying out lip filler treatments in their own clinics.
Safety and ethics are two of our main focuses. MATA was set up in 2015 to push the standards in the aesthetics industry, and that’s something we still believe in today.
We were delighted when Angie, a nurse from Scotland studying towards her Level 7 in Facial Aesthetics, offered to share her experiences. Here are her thoughts on training with MATA.
MATA was founded by Mr F. Zavahir, a plastic surgeon with over 25 years of experience. Mr Zavahir first founded Juvea Aesthetics, a clinic on Harley Street that focused on treatment, but he quickly recognised a need for better training in the industry.
This realisation led to MATA, which was founded with the main purpose of increasing the level of training and treatment in cosmetic medicine. The MATA Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in facial aesthetics was created, which is a robust programme of theory and practical training that brought qualification standardisation to the UK.
MATA’s training quickly expanded, first throughout the country and now across the world. Our courses in Australia, Canada, Ireland, India and New Zealand are now the gold standard for cosmetic injectable training.
MATA is founded on a few core beliefs:
We’re renowned providers of aesthetic training in 6 countries worldwide. We bring Harley Street-level tuition to medical practitioners across the globe, ensuring all MATA delegates are operating at the very highest level.
The field of aesthetics continues to experience significant growth, with increasing numbers of people seeking non-surgical solutions to enhance their appearance. Among the most sought-after treatments are lip fillers, which offer a natural way to augment lip volume and shape. As more individuals become aware of the benefits of cosmetic injectables, including botulinum toxins and dermal fillers, demand for qualified practitioners is on the rise. This surge has created numerous opportunities for healthcare professionals to specialise and expand their practices.
By enrolling in lip aesthetic courses NZ, medical professionals can position themselves to meet this demand, gaining the skills needed to perform lip filler procedures effectively and safely. Given the popularity of these treatments, advanced courses in aesthetic medicine can provide a valuable edge in this growing market. As lip augmentation becomes a mainstream procedure, professionals with the right qualifications and training will be able to offer safe, high-quality results that keep patients coming back. Specialising in lip fillers through dedicated cosmetic injectables training will allow practitioners to offer one of the most popular and lucrative services in the industry.
One of the primary goals in performing lip filler treatments is to ensure that patients feel comfortable, safe, and well-informed throughout the entire process. Quality patient care starts before the injection and continues long after the procedure. By offering thorough consultations, medical professionals can help patients understand the procedure, including the risks and potential benefits, while also answering any questions they may have. Creating a welcoming and compassionate environment allows patients to feel confident in their decisions and trust their healthcare professionals.
Post-treatment care is equally important, and practitioners should provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results and patient satisfaction. For practitioners, understanding the significance of follow-up care and maintaining consistent communication with patients is critical. By making patient care a top priority, aesthetic professionals can build long-lasting relationships and enhance their reputation in the field of aesthetics.
Effective communication is vital to successful aesthetic treatments, especially when it comes to lip fillers. The consultation process provides the opportunity for practitioners to build rapport with their patients, manage expectations, and ensure that the individual’s goals are understood and met. Understanding how to assess a patient’s needs is key, as is explaining the procedure, potential risks, and aftercare instructions in a manner that is both clear and reassuring. The ability to speak knowledgeably about cosmetic injectables and the specific products used, such as botulinum toxins and dermal fillers, will help patients feel confident in their choice of practitioner. It’s essential to provide a detailed explanation of the process, including any potential side effects and the expected timeline for results so that patients are fully informed and comfortable with the treatment.
A successful consultation doesn’t just involve assessing the physical needs of the patient but also understanding their aesthetic desires, which helps guide the practitioner in creating a personalised treatment plan. As the relationship between the practitioner and patient strengthens through effective communication, it not only leads to higher satisfaction but also fosters trust, which is the foundation for long-term relationships.
Our expert trainers have a huge amount of experience, and they deliver exceptional tuition in innovative virtual and practical learning environments.
We understand that support after your lip injection course is equally as important as the training itself, so we are passionate about providing support to our delegates in their new roles. We have a network of MATA alumni, and we provide a way for them to connect, support each other and network.
It’s also worth noting that whilst your course is heavy on practical treatment techniques, there will also be some broader training and business knowledge to help you set up independent practice.
We also endeavour to keep our delegates updated with industry-related news, such as changes in cosmetic injectable laws, new products, and treatment recommendations. This ensures our attendees are always delivering the very best possible treatments.
