About MATA

MATA was established in 2015 by our CEO, Mr F. Zavahir (MBCHB, MRCS, MSC), a plastic surgeon with more than 25 years of experience. Mr Zavahir noticed a need for standards and care in the field of cosmetic and aesthetic medicine. Whilst the industry and demand were rapidly growing, the supply of quality care and treatment was low.

So, Mr Zavahir established Juevea Aesthetics, a high-end clinic on London’s prestigious Harley Street. The vision was to provide high-end care that delivered patient results whilst placing a strong emphasis on safety and care. The clinic thrived, but it quickly became clear to Mr Zavahir that he couldn’t increase the standards of care for the whole industry alone. Mr Zavahir then spotted another need for quality training delivered by medical practitioners to medical practitioners.

MATA was set up with the main goal of increasing industry standards in cosmetic and aesthetic medicine. At MATA we only train qualified medical professionals, whether that’s doctors, nurses, dentists or pharmacists. Over the years we have won numerous awards for our exceptional training, and we have trained countless alumni to practice aesthetic medicine whilst keeping patients safe.

We offer courses across the world, still from our original home in London but now we also offer cosmetic fillers course Auckland, cosmetic nurse training Auckland, as well as courses in Australia, Canada, Ireland and India.

Our Goals

  • To raise the standards of care and practice in the aesthetic industry around the world so patient safety is protected
  • To offer a high level of training to qualified medical professionals, giving them the confidence and experience to be successful in aesthetics
  • To be innovative in our training, ensuring our course attendees have fun whilst also learning the valuable course content
  • To provide support to our alumni in their own ventures
  • To create a network of MATA alumni who will uphold our high standards of care across the world
